Peptides Made Simple an explanation of peptides by Dr. Katie Schneller | GLOW

Combination for Healing, Inflammation, and Skin Health

Welcome to Episode Two of Inclusive Natural Medicine’s PMS Series — Peptides Made Simple.

In this series, the goal is to break down complex peptide therapies into easy-to-understand explanations because peptides have quickly become one of the most talked-about topics in functional and regenerative medicine.

One of the most frequently asked-about peptide blends after BPC-157 is something called GLOW.

“Episode two of our PMS series PMS standing for peptides made simple.

I think the second most common one that I get asked about is called GLOW a combination of BPC 157 which was in episode one of the series. here.

It also combines TB 500 and something called GHK copper, luckily you don’t have to memorize any of that, of course, but glow is specific for healing of that soft tissue but also in the gut as well systemic inflammation and injury recovery.

The point of the copper is to help with skin integrity now if you’ve not heard of one called Klow not Glow but glow with a K that is even more specific for skin and we can do that one later in the series but specifically with glow this is a daily injection.

It’s a subcutaneous injection so usually you use insulin syringes.

Week one is when you see reduced in inflammation improved joint, comfort, subtle skin, and tissue regeneration and then weeks 2-3 is when you get that enhanced wound healing, improved mobility and better skin tone and elasticity, and then week four and on as when you see the deeper recovery benefits so things like visible improvements and tissue health and resilience!

I hope that helps”

What Is the GLOW Peptide Blend?

GLOW is a combination peptide therapy that includes three well-known regenerative peptides:

  • BPC-157 – known for tissue healing and gut repair

  • TB-500 – studied for its role in cellular repair and inflammation support

  • GHK-Cu (Copper Peptide) – associated with skin health and collagen support

By combining these peptides into one protocol, GLOW is often discussed as a systemic healing blend that targets multiple areas of the body at once.

This is why many people explore it when dealing with soft tissue injuries, chronic inflammation, and skin health concerns.

How the GLOW Blend Works

Each peptide in the blend supports different aspects of healing and regeneration.

BPC-157 – Tissue and Gut Healing

BPC-157 is frequently studied for its ability to support muscle, ligament, tendon, and gut tissue repair.

Because it originates from gastric proteins, it is also often discussed in connection with digestive health and gut lining support.

TB-500 – Cellular Repair and Mobility

TB-500 is a synthetic form of thymosin beta-4, a peptide associated with cell migration, tissue regeneration, and inflammation modulation.

It is often discussed in regenerative medicine for its potential role in improving mobility and recovery after injury.

GHK-Cu – Skin and Collagen Support

GHK-Cu is a copper-binding peptide known for its role in supporting:

  • collagen production
  • skin integrity
  • wound healing
  • tissue regeneration

Because of this, it has become popular in both medical and cosmetic regenerative therapies.

Why GLOW Is Used

The goal of combining these peptides is to support whole-body healing, including:

  • soft tissue recovery
  • systemic inflammation reduction
  • gut health support
  • skin repair and collagen production
  • injury recovery and tissue regeneration

This combination makes GLOW one of the peptide blends often discussed for active individuals, injury recovery, and regenerative wellness protocols.

Typical Administration

GLOW is often described in peptide therapy discussions as:

  • a daily subcutaneous injection

  • administered using small insulin syringes

Subcutaneous injections are commonly used in peptide protocols because they allow for slow absorption into the bloodstream.

(Protocols vary and should always be supervised by a qualified healthcare provider. hello hi that’s us!)

What People Report Over Time

In peptide therapy discussions, individuals often describe improvements occurring in stages.

Week 1

Some people report:

  • reduced inflammation
  • improved joint comfort
  • subtle improvements in skin or tissue quality

Weeks 2–3

At this stage, people sometimes notice:

  • improved mobility
  • enhanced wound healing
  • improved skin tone and elasticity

Week 4 and Beyond

Longer-term discussions often focus on:

  • deeper tissue recovery
  • improved resilience in muscles and joints
  • visible improvements in overall tissue health

Individual responses vary, and results depend on many factors including injury severity, lifestyle habits, and overall health.

GLOW vs “KLOW” for Skin Health

Some people may also hear about a peptide protocol called KLOW (with a “K”), which is sometimes discussed specifically for skin-focused treatments.

While GLOW supports systemic healing and tissue regeneration, KLOW protocols are sometimes explored for more targeted skin and aesthetic applications, which may be discussed later in peptide education series like this one.

Important Safety Note

Peptides such as BPC-157, TB-500, and GHK-Cu are considered emerging therapies, and regulations around peptide use continue to evolve.

Anyone considering peptide therapy should consult with a licensed medical professional experienced in regenerative or functional medicine to determine the safest and most appropriate treatment options.

The Bottom Line

The GLOW peptide blend combines three well-known regenerative peptides to support tissue repair, inflammation reduction, gut health, and skin integrity.

Because it targets multiple healing pathways at once, it has become one of the most frequently discussed peptide blends in regenerative medicine and functional health practices.

As the Peptides Made Simple series continues, more peptides and blends will be explored to help simplify the growing world of peptide therapy and metabolic wellness.
